For the nth time, my PC is down again! I better save up so I can have it reformatted soon.
Still contemplating on the fact that I turned down one great job opportunity. It would have been the perfect reason to move out of our house, even for just the six months training. I have wanted to move out of our house and live by myself for quite some time. By next year, I know I will be ready for that.
Started reading the Da Vinci Code...finally! Though I am only in Chapter 18 (it has 105!) I can already sense why the said novel is such a controversial one.
Got to see the finale of the Amazing Race 7 last Thursday. Why so late? It's because the via satellite airing was shown on May 9 (9-11 AM) which is obviously prohibited time for me since I have to read manuscripts during those hours. Fortunately, one of our editors, who by the way is also an AR fanatic, sneaked in from time to time to the author's lounge where there is a television so she was able to tell us who won the race. The primetime airing, meanwhile, was divided into two parts, May 12 and 19, so my appreciation of the said finale was ideed late.
Furthermore, I must say that of all the races I've seen, Uchenna and Joyce were definitely the worthy of them all. They have never stepped on anyone during the entire race so their fellow teams prayed for them all the way. Good luck to the couple's IVF!
Kudos also to Tom Westman for winning Survivor Palau! I think Ian would have stirred the juror's vote if only he did not lay down his torch for the bitchy Katie. Anyway, the latter got what she deserve when the jurors called her names during the last tribal council.
Until next time...
