Yesterday was my last day in graduate school for this semester. I have now officially earned 27 units, only six units left to complete my academic requirements. The problem is I might have the said subjects, Organizational Communication and Communication Models and Theories, under the so-called "terror" professor that I met two semesters ago. Honestly, I still feel traumatized because of what she did to me and my group. I just hope we'll find a way to have amother professor take over one of the aforementioned subjects, or both if we are damn lucky. We heard that there was a time when she went to the States for a vacation and another professor handled her subjects. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!
So far, all my subjects this semester were great. The first two, Communication Research and Statistics and Communication Management Consultancy, were both toxic and very time-consuming. I had to go to different libraries and spend sleepless nights for the first one just to be able to come up with the Chapters I-III of my research. The second one, which is somehow a practicum course, had me spending even my vacation at my chosen organization.
Moreover, my last subject, Corporate Communication, was so far the most intriguing subject I had in my entire stay at PLM. We had this classmate telling our professor that she was offended by her, and when the latter asked her how she did that, the poor girl cannot even define what "offended" means. There were other funny incidents but I'd rather not post it anymore.
I can say that this semester was the best I had so far. It was not all about the pressures and the mocking that I had in the previous ones. I am glad that somewhere along the way I was able to find inspiration, and it was only this semester that I was able to tell someone of the "secret" I have been keeping to myself since my first semester.
I say good luck to my classmates who will be taking their comprehensive examination in May. I know you guys can make it...
